Esme: 2 months old

Image
Lisa's sister Debbie writes: Esme had her doctor's appt today. She's 24 inches long (75th percentile) and 10 lbs (30th percentile. She has grown 5 inches and 4 lbs in two months. They gave her three shots simultaneously and she didn't appreciate it. She's been drugged and sleepy all day. Paty (Kellen's mom) bathed and massaged her while I was working and I put a warm compress on her sore tetanus leg once I got home. Went snowboarding tonight. Super icy. Pao (sister-in-law) bruised her back and I landed on my tailbone. Fun times had by all. Paty made the ladybug hat. Cute, huh? The other white meat... Blue eyes (for now).

Best-sister-ever position secured for the low, low price of an $11 buck pizza

[commence bragging] Aunt Lisa made this outfit [end bragging]

Lisa writes: I made this baby gown out of a t-shirt Christi gave me for my college graduation. It has a picture of an ant on the back and says something about being a hard worker. I also made another one from the 1993 Rocky Mountain Dog Track Annual Wiener Dog race. We entered our wiener dogs in this event two or three times. One time, our dog refused to come out of the box when they sounded the buzzer. Another time, our dog stopped and peed in the middle of the track. Needless to say, we never won any prizes, but there was a lot of nice swag just for participating, including a t-shirt. Got some new diapers today. Oh yeah...
