The Spanish word for "Suburbia" is "Suburbia"

While most people seem super vicariously-psyched-for-us about our move to Mexico, some well-meaning friends and family members have expressed concern. We've been sent news articles about crime and zika virus. People wonder what we're going to do for school and housing and transportation. We know these concerns stem from love.

Here's the thing: Yes, it's Mexico. But it's also 2025. This city of about a million people has a Costco, a Sam's Club, seven McDonalds, six Walmarts, a Home Depot, and an Ace Hardware. If you look at the map. we're 2700 miles from the southern border of the U.S., but if you look around, we're not really that far.
