Lisa writes: We go around the circle and ask the kids to share one thing that's happened since we last met. One boy pipes up, "My dog has giardia!"

My favorite was the first week we were teaching, one of the little girls whose mother played an instrument in the National Symphony Orchestra, announced for everybody, "MY mother is FAMOUS." We repeated it to the mom afterward and she turned red and shook her head and said, "Yes, we've been working on that..."

We also had a problem with the kids wanting to sit on our laps during Sharing Time until the Primary Pres made a blanket "No laps" rule. (For which I was very grateful.) When informed of the new rule, the worst offender (a boy) said to Tom -- nice and loud -- "But you're my Cuddle Buddy!"
Matt had giardia for three years before he figured it out, and that happened when he was sent to Air Force survival school and they were describing the symptoms of various survival intestinal issues.

the "cuddle buddy" comment made us laugh out loud! Oh, those primary kids!
