Lisa parents go to Provo
Lisa's mom writes: Roy and I spent our last day in Utah after our dental conference with Deb and Kellen in Orem and Provo. Kellen's best man, Josh and family have had a tradition of a picnic in the park behind "The Stadium of Fire" for 10 years.
Kellen's mom, Paty, and sisters, Paula and Gabby and Josh's little darling.
A park in Orem had an amazing tribute to the Unitied States with folks in period costumes from the very beginnings of our great country. They were demonstrations by "a doctor" - broom maker - wooden bowls and spoons - blacksmith etc. You could even "go through Ellis Island and take a test to become a citizen.
HE IS THE MAN! Josh grilled for us for hours. He had 25 lbs of chicken and thin sliced steaks. Deb and Kellen brought fresh tortillas from the Mexican Market. They were so good hot off the grill. A lot of us made wraps with chicken and steak and the wonderful avocado salsa. We had corn on the cob, watermellon, potato salad etc.
