Washington State: Vashon Island

Lisa writes: After the temple, Lori and the gang went home and the rest of us went off on an adventure -- Vashon Island! First, we took a ferry. It was cold and windy. We set Kellen up as a windblock and the rest of us drafted behind him. Thanks, Kellen!

We saw a bike in a tree.

We saw a stubby lighthouse. (Point Robinson)

Lighthouse rules.

Lighthouse light. Did you know that every U.S. lighthouse has a unique blinking pattern so that sailors can identify them? Sort of a blinky GPS system.

And then we took a different ferry to go back to the mainland. This never gets old to me.
